Augmented Publishing Group (APG) and real estate agent Tamika Bridgewater have begun searching for professionals to be included in their upcoming book project that will benefit the nonprofit organization ONEgeneration located in California.

The Los Angeles-based firm Augmented Publishing Group just announced the official launch of their search for professionals to be featured in the upcoming book, “Simi Valley Baby Boomers — What You Need to Know Today If You Were Born Between 1946 – 1964.”

Lisa Williams, the president of APG, confirmed that real simi valley estate agent Tamika Bridgewater has signed on to head up the search team.

Williams stated, “We are thrilled to be able to attract the involvement of someone as respected as Mrs. Bridgewater for this important project. She has incredible commitment and passion for families, but she has a special place in her heart for the boomer generation.”

A citywide search is currently being conducted for professionals such as mortgage brokers, real estate attorneys, financial advisors, insurance agents, estate planning attorneys, tax professionals, caregivers, therapists, personal trainers, personal chefs, dating coaches and business coaches to round the project.

Explaining her search process, Bridgewater said, “I’ll be reaching out to a select group of professionals whom I feel are true educators and advocates for the success of the Baby Boomer community, while at the same time committing to spread the word about a great cause.” Williams and Bridgewater have pledged to donate 100% of the retail royalties to ONEgeneration, whose mission is to enrich the lives of seniors, children, and their families throughout the diverse communities in the San Fernando Valley.

Scheduled for a summer release, “Simi Valley Baby Boomers — What You Need to Know Today If You Were Born Between 1946 – 1964,” will feature a chapter spotlighting each of the selected professionals who will share their insights and tips, as well as bust the myths and misconceptions about retirement, real estate and Baby Boomers’ later years.

Williams described the book as “a powerful resource for those who find themselves in that age range and who want to learn more about resources that are available, as well what they need to know for their future with regard to finance, health and continuing to live an active lifestyle. The information will also tackle the most common challenges faced by those who fall in the baby boomer age range from qualifying for social security to using a reverse mortgage to purchase a home.”

According to Williams, several industry leaders have expressed an interest in participating. She and Mrs. Bridgewater expect to make an announcement revealing the final selections by June 1st.

“We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project, for both ONEgeneration and for the people we select to be featured in the book. We really want to showcase those professionals who are actually in the trenches, working hard every day and willing to share that experience to benefit a great cause and the success of the Baby Boomer community. That’s what will make this a win-win project.”
