VERONA, ITALY – 01 June, 2016 – Players will take command of aircrafts, helicopters and ships in missions inspired by real situations and scenarios—RORTOS (http://www.rortos.com), the Italian leader in the development of flight simulators for mobile devices, announced the forthcoming arrival of the new integrated air naval simulator “MARINA MILITARE – ITALIAN NAVY SIM”, soon available for Android and iOS (later also in Windows and Mac versions) that will allow all players, even the most inexperienced ones, to take command of ships, airplanes and helicopters of the Italian Navy.

MARINA MILITARE – ITALIAN NAVY SIM will allow players to interact with real and existing aircraft, helicopters and ships of the Italian Navy, in real scenarios carefully reproduced by the development team, including the navigation and the visit of the training ship Amerigo Vespucci (#Vespucci85).

The game has been officially licensed by the ITALIAN NAVY (http://www.marina.difesa.it) and designed for all the fans of flight with aircrafts, helicopters and naval missions.

“Our goal is to create together with the Italian Navy a unique game experience that is totally Made in Italy,” commented Roberto Simonetto, RORTOS’ CEO. “For the first time we ventured in a game that is not just pure flight simulation, and we believe that the final result is really excellent and exciting. We are sure that players will appreciate the quality and realism that have always characterized our titles.”

Main features

MARINA MILITARE – ITALINA NAVY SIM has, for now, three simulation areas faithfully reproduced with satellite technology: Taranto, La Spezia and Catania. For each area an integrated scenario inspired by real situations is available, plunging players in a sequence of exciting missions. The pilot, or the Commanding Officer, will be called upon to play his role in always different vehicles of the Italian Navy (even many different ones during the same mission) and for each one a score will be assigned, based on his performance.

Driving the Andrea Doria D553 destroyer, landing on Cavour aircraft carrier with an AV-8B Harrier II+, saving shipwrecks with RHIB Hurricane 753, going out on patrol with FLIR EH101 helicopter, or sailing with famous training ship Amerigo Vespucci (faithfully reproduced) are just some of the available missions.

All scenarios have been created in high resolution, and during missions it will be possible to select or change the weather, the winds and the sea, the time of day, the location and the mission itself.
