Colorado’s muddiest race is family friendly and also supports Angels of America’s Fallen, a local charity that helps children of fallen military and first responders.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – 03 June, 2016 – BIG DOG BRAG, one of the most popular and family friendly mud run obstacle courses in Colorado, is celebrating five years as “The Funner Mud Run” with races in Colorado Springs and Pueblo this month.

The race that started with 1,100 participants has grown to over 5,000 “muddy enthusiasts” ranging from five up to 72 years old, proving that age doesn’t matter when it comes to completing the fun yet challenging obstacle course.

Thousands have participated in the 5k BIG DOG course in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, with over 26 obstacles, including Tarzan swings, cargo net climbs, canyon traverses, 15 mud pits, monkey bars and rope climbs. The 2k LITTLE DOG course, one of the only races of its kind in the country for kids ages five and up and their families, features 15 fun obstacles with a 60 foot slide into a huge mud pit.

Registration for the Colorado Springs 5K race, for ages 10 and up, is $69. The special Big Blu discount deal using code JUMP gives racers $10 off when registering before June 3 online. Cost for the 2K race is $59 for adults, and $29 for kids ages 5-11. Participants receive a BIG DOG BRAG dog tag, brag-worthy t-shirt, action photos and a temporary tattoo. There is no charge for spectators, and there will also be a Kids Zone that offers free childcare for children 3 – 11 years old.

The Pueblo 5K adult race for ages 10 and up is $59 until June 15, $49 for the adult 2K, and $29 for the kids 2K. Prices for the Pueblo BIG DOG BRAG go up by $10 on June 15.

BIG DOG BRAG takes place in Colorado Springs at Ram Off Road Park on June 4, 2016, and in Pueblo at CSU on June 25, 2016. For more details and to register visit or call 719-210-6820.
