Magline Hand Truck with Glyde Technology Inventor Creating Ergonomic Solution Saving Thousands in Workers Comp

John Reynolds, CEO of ELLO, partnered with Magline in developing the new Magliner Hand Truck with Glyde Technology. Reynolds discussed the development of the Glyde in a recent video. Glyde was developed to move heavy loads down stairs. Magline provides innovative solutions to help customers transport materials more safely and efficiently.

Reynolds noted, “The Glyde hand truck eases the burden on the most costly step in the moving process, and that is moving goods down stairs. The Glyde hand truck enables the moving professionals to easily transition on-level surfaces to moving down stairs allowing them to tackle any account safely and efficiently. There is no way to understate that this is the most pervasive problem in the last 100 meters in delivery today.”

“The methods and locations of each account are so variable and dependent on the infrastructure of each account that there is a tremendous burden on delivery professionals. They must muscle, maneuver, and in some cases bounce their load down narrow and winding stairs often causing chronic injury to their shoulders, elbows, and back. We actually found that the average delivery professional spends around 12-15 days a year on workers’ comp and larger companies like Anheuser-Busch, budgets tens of thousands of dollars for each injury,” added Reynolds.
