Offbeat startup Curvendar launches Kickstarter project with promise of world’s greatest time traveling experience

Former HP manager Peter Jameson launches Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign with wacky backstory to bring “time travel with ease” to everyone. Curvendar’s bot Cal is always working behind the scenes to create the ultimate experience of time for Curvendar members.

Naperville, IL – June 17, 2016 – Curvendar, headed by former HP manager Peter Jameson, today announces the launch of their Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign with a wacky backstory and a promise to bring “time travel with ease” to everyone. Something truly never seen before, the app and service combination is constantly working in the background to create a picture of time for Curvendar members. Curvendar is always working to answer when the question is, “What’s going on?”

At the heart of Curvendar is the calendaring bot Cal. Cal is the one who handles all the tedious, behind-the-scenes work for Curvendar members. Whenever members receive schedules or events, they simply message Cal and the events will be added to their picture of time. This no effort approach is perfect for anyone who has ever received a game, practice or event schedule in email.

Members also ask Cal to add events from their favorite groups. For example, one Cal member asked Cal to include cooking classes from their local Whole Foods, another asked to see the live music events from their local pub and yet another asked to see the game schedule for the Arizona State University women’s soccer team. Cal not only adds the events for members, but also keeps members updated as the events change or new events are added.

“I’m excited to launch the Curvendar project on Kickstarter,” said CEO Jameson. “We can now bring a highly personalized, rich and dynamic experience of time to everyone. The best part is that Curvendar does all the work for you. With no effort you will always know what’s going on with your family, at work and in the world around you.”

Speaking further, Jameson shared the wacky backstory behind the development of Curvendar. It starts with Jameson as corporate manager and ends with him sporting some funky threads doing “The Orange Chicken” at a carnival.

“We had a lot of fun with our Kickstarter video. It’s an unorthodox approach, but the video tells the story as it really happened,” he said. “It all started with the desire to always know what’s going on in the world I care about. Not everything happening in the world, just the things I really care about.”
