Boomer Hogs Creator Invites Kickstarter Community To Celebrate Its Release

Award winning short film begins pre-production of pilot.

San Diego, California – June 20, 2016 – Natalie Lauer launched a campaign to celebrate the release of her short film, “Boomer Hogs” with the Kickstarter community. This short film has just won an Award of Recognition from Accolades Global film competition. Boomer Hogs story is about feuding brothers riding Harleys on a journey to family reconciliation through the rival biker gangs territory to save their dysfunctional kids. It has both heart and humor and more fun than should be legal as you’ll see from The Herb promo music video. The project ends on July 7, 2016.

Natalie is a writer, producer, and actress. As a writer, she found the craft of filmmaking unearthed layers of meaning left unturned by her pen. She was born in Russia. Her family immigrated to the U.S. after the fall of the Berlin wall. Her interests include dark beer, dark irony, and dark stories, so life in general.

Boomer Hogs began as a short story about a lost girl and a Harley rider, both looking for the missing family. The characters are regular people with good intentions and flaws which lead them on journeys into unfortunate situations. The arching story of the pilot is about feuding Baby Boomer generation brothers forced together to ride out into a rival biker club territory. Their kids drama endangers everyone yet saves the family.

Instead of fundraising Natalie set out to do something different and harder – to party. She is inviting the Kickstarter community to join the Boomer Hogs team at celebrations and screening events as they release the film to cinema festivals and join her pre-production of the pilot.

However, for those who enjoy film and behind the scenes footage, Natalie will provide coverage of the pilot’s pre-development. Perks will be delivered by December 2016.

This is also an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special project! Help the campaign spread its reach by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks.
