Bellerose, NY, June 23, 2016 — Our Valued Commodity in partnership with Ebenezer Mission Church will host their 4th Annual Carnival and Firework Show throughout Independence Day Weekend 2016; at Padavan-Preller Field.  The Carnival will operate from 5:00 PM – Midnight beginning on Friday, July 1st, 2016 and ending on Sunday, July 4th, 2016.  The Firework show will take place on Saturday, July 3rd 2016 at 9:00 PM.  Last year, local residents lined up by the thousands on Hillside Avenue and 235th Street to enjoy the beautiful fireworks display.

This event will consist of over 15 rides for children and adults. In addition there will be games, popular carnival food items for sale, music, and a safe and outdoor fun filled, family-friendly environment. People of all ages can come out and enjoy the festivities. Admission is free. Local residents believe this event is great for the community and were elated to know this would be an annual affair. No longer do they have to travel far distances to enjoy a large carnival and beautiful firework show during the July 4th weekend.

Our Valued Commodity operates a very affordable Summer Camp and After School Program located at Ebenezer Mission Church (220-16 Union Turnpike, Oakland Gardens NY, 11364). Ebenezer Mission Church is consistently active in the local & surrounding community with food drives, assisting the elderly with outreach teams, and mission work in countries such as the Philippines, Haiti and China. Proceeds from this event support both organizations; allowing them to continue their great works, sustain their operations and provide an affordable price point for participants in their programs.
