Jenkins is an avid griller who naturally developed an interest in creating barbecue sauces. His process involved the addition of various herbs and spices to enhance the flavors of traditional sauces found on supermarket shelves. Over time, as Jenkins became educated about the ingredients that typical sauces and marinades contained, he realized the adverse effects that many of them had on himself and the people he served. This was when he decided to create Stick em’ Up.
