Orlando, Florida – June 27, 2016 – Dominick Tamborra, founder ofRMD Technologies and patented inventor of food safety devices, launched a campaign seeking community support to raise $50,000 by July 20, 2016, to release his latest product, the D-Mometer®.It’s an all-electronic, patented, NSF/ANSI certified,time and temperature, food monitoring device that is compliant with FDA’s Food Code. Funds received will be used to complete product development, manufacture inventory, website development, and marketing. 

Tamborra has over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry. He was a certified ServSafe restaurant manager.  Trained at NSF for writing and implementing HACCP plans for Food safety.  CTO of RMD Technologies . Being in the Restaurant industry for many years Tamborrahas developed devices that help reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses by following the FDA’s food code along with local health departments’ rules and regulations for monitoring Refrigerated foods to know if and when they are exposed to unsafe temperatures. The company’s mission is to provide the food service industry and community a device that will monitor temperature conditions to help make food safer for everyone. 

The D-Mometer® is a new product that monitor’s temperature within a refrigeration unit and the time food is exposed to unsafe temperatures. It automatically records temperature and accumulated time and notify users when the food has been exposed to the Temperature Danger Zone (TDZ). Food that has been in the susceptible to TDZ for 4 or more hours becomes unsafe for human consumption. If and when a refrigerator violates the FDA limit, the device will emit visual and audible alerts, enabling operators to reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses quickly and easily.
