Puente Enterprises Brings a Modern Twist on Texas BBQ to DFW International Airport

Job Fair to be held on June 28th 2016 at Hyatt Place DFW

DALLAS/FORT WORTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, TX – 6/27/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) — Puente Enterprises, Inc. (PEI), a diversified airport provider of retail, food & beverage, quick service restaurants and foreign currency has partnered with Chef Stephan Pyles (Star Canyon, Stampede 66 and newly opened Flora Street Café) to bring a modern twist to Texas BBQ in Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport’s flagship Terminal D. 

Stampede 66 Express will take a slice from the menu of Pyles’ Stampede 66 downtown Dallas restaurant as a fast casual BBQ location opening late this summer. House-made sausage, spit-roasted pork sandwiches and “serious sides” will specifically be created by Chef Pyles for this airport outlet.

Gina Puente, CEO of Puente Enterprises, Inc. has a reputation for bringing innovative concepts to non-traditional environments. “Chef Pyles and I are again collaborating on Stampede 66 Express and we are thrilled to turn up the notch on what people perceive as quick-service barbecue. In the past, I wasn’t a typical barbecue lover, however the first time I tasted Chef Pyles’ brisket and BBQ sandwiches I loved the quality and recognized that an entire concept could be carved out as a quick service airport venue.”

PEI is currently hiring more than 40 positions for this exciting new concept in addition to other company-operated concepts such as Urban Taco, Sky Canyon by Stephan Pyles, Cereality, Blimpie and Travelex.  PEI’s recruitment team will be conducting on-the-spot interviews at the Job Fair held at the Hyatt Place DFW on June 28th from 10am – 4 pm. Candidates must be able to pass TSA security clearance with the DFW International Airport.
