Miami, FL – July 4, 2016 – Centerspect, a Miami-based product design company has recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for their new project: the Haversack. Inspired by the iconic style of the 1930s Boy Scout backpack, Harry Formoso-Murias, Centerspect’s lead designer and an incoming freshman at RISD, designed a modern interpretation of the minimalist, everyday accessory with attention to detail and functionality. Centerspect’s new product features the finest durable 18oz. canvas, steel D-rings, reinforced stitching, leather patch, hook and suede tie. Everything from water bottles to keys can be attached to the Haversack’s side panels and the large interior capacity allows the user to fill the Haversack with the essentials for any adventure.
The crowdfunding campaign is geared to raise $10,000 by July 29th 2016. Supporters of the campaign are offered rewards: early bird supporters receive a Haversack in either white or black with an $80 pledge; or with a pledge of $150, can receive two Haversacks and attractive hook and tie enclosures for each bag. Additional reward brackets are listed on the Haversack Kickstarter campaign page, see link below.
A Centerspect spokesperson commented, “Our modern Haversack will last for years. Such an extensive project, however, demands substantial financial backing, hence this crowdfunding campaign – your support is essential.” Indeed, production of the Haversack can only begin if the campaign reaches its funding goal. If you are intrigued by the bag and want to get your hands on this unique, handmade product, support the Kickstarter campaign and share the link so this project can receive funding.
