BE Headwear, a developer of cordless sound systems for helmets and beanies, has launched BE Link 4.0, a smaller and slimmer version of the company’s 3rd generation Bluetooth sound system, allowing users to easily listen to music whilst participating in a wider range of outdoor activities.
Almost 3 years ago, BE Headwear revolutionized the way people listen to their music with premium Bluetooth beanies. Now it has almost been a year exactly since the company launched the Gen 3 BE Link surround sound system for helmets. Since the BE Link was released the product has received considerable support, and positive feedback from purchasers.
Despite the Gen 3 BE Link’s success, BE Headwear focused on continuously improving the product. “We’ve spent countless hours making sure that our product is usable across all sport platforms that use helmets,” the CEO of BE Headwear says. In addition, the company based the development of the product’s next generation on gauging customer opinions. Over the last 12 months, BE Headwear invested a lot of effort to take customer feedback into account to develop the new standard in mobile, personal surround sound.
This resulted in the introduction of BE Headwear’s BE Link 4.0, which features many improvements. The new Bluetooth sound system has a waterproof rating of IPX5, opening it up to a whole new array of water sports and activities. It is 40% smaller and 12% slimmer than the previous unit, making it much more adaptable and helmet compatible. The new BE Link also comes with some remarkable new accessories, including a USB attachable boom mic for clearer in-helmet communication, and a separate external Bluetooth controller that can be mounted on anything with an action sports camera mount.
BE Headwear has so far developed 4 generations of Bluetooth Integrated Sound Systems for helmets. What sets BE Link 4.0 apart from the competition is its superior sound quality, style, no weight and ease of use. In addition, in BE Link’s control panel, the buttons are placed around the center so users can locate the controls just touch. BE Link 4.0’s development has been supported through the BE Headwear’s BE Link Kickstarter crowdfunding site where the products have so far won the support of 265 backers and attracted funds of over $31,000.
