Yogananda’s India – Thrilling Documentary Of A Man Who Became A Great Saint

Journey through the extraordinary life of a kriya yoga master

Rabun Gap, Georgia – July 8, 2016 – Filmmaker Ron Lindahn launched a campaign seeking community support for his documentary film, “Yogananda’s India.” This documentary is the story of Paramahansa Yogananda’s journey of spiritual awakening. Kriya Yoga masters guided him, saints inspired him, the soul of India nurtured him, all supported young Mukunda in becoming the great saint and spiritual dynamo who changed the world. The goal is to raise $20,000 by August 2, 2016. Funds received will be used for additional filming, post production, video editing, music/sound editing, graphic design for maps and graphics, illustrations, and marketing and promotion in order to complete the film.

Lindahn is a master of visual communication and gifted writer. He is an award-winning photographer, illustrator, graphic designer and filmmaker. In 1970 Ron met his guru, friend, and mentor, Roy Eugene Davis. As a personal disciple ordained by ParamahansaYogananda, Roy initiated Lindahn in kriya yoga.

The filmmaker’s purpose for this documentary project is to share discoveries and insights into Yogananda’s life, a story of spiritual transformation. It’s an inspired service to those interested in learning more about the man who brought yoga to the West; a film to reveal Yogananda as a human being who became a great saint. It reveals how he encouraged people to be spiritually enlightened, while sharing his personality, and the spiritual influences he benefited from.
