American Diabetes Association raises $5,200 with Global Sporting Safaris Donation

SPRINGFIELD, MO – 7/13/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) — Global Sporting Safaris, Inc. (GSS) is pleased to announce that the American Diabetes Association, Springfield, MO, Red Ball Gala raised over $5,000 for research and support programs to prevent and cure diabetes through our hunting trip donation program.  Their annual Red Ball Gala event was held on April 9th, 2016.  A group of dedicated supporters and advocates, Carla Wade and Laura Winstead, put together an outstanding event.

Global Sporting Safaris’ Africa Hunt Club manager, Julie Sinon, donated a big game African hunting safari for two hunters.  After much excitement the winning bid came in at $5,200, of which, 100% will go towards supporting the American Diabetes Association in its mission to prevent and cure diabetes.

Global Sporting Safaris has donated over $5,136,000 in hunting trips* in recent years helping many not for profit charities raise valuable funds for their worthy causes. “We have put together a high quality hunting donation that allows Global Sporting Safaris (GSS) to give back to the ‘not for profit’ organizations that help to promote our industry and our passion,” says Rick Kennerknecht, CEO of Global Sporting Safaris.

Global Sporting Safaris (GSS) makes this donation available to 501c3, 501c4 or 501c6 organizations and there are a limited number of hunting trips available each year.  The outfitters in this fundraising program offer topnotch accommodations, excellent hunting areas, professional staff, exquisite local cuisine and trophy quality animals.  “I have personally visited and hunted with our African outfitter to assure quality and a positive experience for our clients” said Mr. Kennerknecht.  Details can be found at

At the conclusion of the fundraising event, Julie Sinon will follow up with each auction winner.  She will work with each winner to set up their trip and ensure that everything goes smoothly both before and after the hunt.
