Temple of the Dog is an American rock band that was formed Seattle over 25 years ago in 1990. It was conceived by talented vocalist Chris Cornell of Soundgarden as a tribute to his late friend, Andrew Wood, who was lead singer of the bands Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. Temple of the Dog’s members originally included Stone Gossard on rhythm guitar, Jeff Ament on bass guitar (both ex-members of Mother Love Bone), Mike McCready on lead guitar, and Matt Cameron on drums. Eddie Vedder provided some lead and backing vocals. Although Vedder’s name has not been listed in the lineup for their reunion tour, there are hopes that he may show up for a show or two as a special guest.

The band released its only album, the self-titled Temple of the Dog, in April 1991 through A&M Records. The band never went on tour back in the 1990’s, however, that will change now when these talented artists go on tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their self-titled album.

The Forum was opened in 1967 and was previously the home of the Los Angeles Sparks and the Los Angeles Clippers. The Forum was recently remodeled and it has hosted many great events over time including the Eagles, Prince, the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, the 2015 and 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and so much more. When the Temple of the Dog brings their show to The Forum on Monday, November 14th, this legendary venue will be packed to capacity.  Interestingly, this venue has the world’s largest vinyl record on the roof.
