CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI – 02 Aug, 2016 – Environmental Enginuity Group announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Hamer Environmental, LP (http://HamerEnvironmental.com) as its first acquisition in the Pacific Northwest. Hamer Environmental, founded in 1992 by Thomas and Chris Hamer, is one of the country’s premiere environmental service firms specializing in assessing biological impacts to natural resources from construction, renewable energy and transportation projects. Hamer is headquartered in the greater Seattle area with branch offices in both Portland and Hawaii. Although Hamer has been providing a host of environmental services worldwide during its 25 year history, some of its primary focuses has been in the area of renewable energy including wind, solar, geothermal and hydroelectric energy as well as oil spill restoration projects. Tom Hamer, along with  his  professional, highly experienced team are noted as some of the foremost authorities on assessing biological impacts to natural resources from a variety of projects and developments and on threatened and endangered species issues, having published numerous articles and scientific papers in the industry. Now, as part of the growing Environmental Enginuity Collective of Environmental Service Providers, its services are available to any and all clients through the EEG network offices across the US.

According to Tom Hamer, “After 25 years of working with many private and governmental clients, we were attracted to the EEG Collective as it represented an efficient way for us to spread our expertise across a larger area, while being able to work with the family of EEG companies in more diverse and larger projects in more locales than we could alone. Also, due to EEG’s unique approach of local project management but with the resources of a large company, our employees, who have been with me for decades, have more opportunity for diversity and personal career growth than they had as a standalone company in the northwest.”

The EEG Collective

EEG is a growing collective of the best of the best environmental service providers across the US and Canada. After almost two years of design and organization, EEG has begun operations with its first phase of company acquisitions located primarily in the western US. The EEG model, which is unique in the industry, is an extension of the founder’s similar collectives built during the last 30 years. Rather than building one large, multi-layered company, with the associated inefficiency and high costs, EEG acquires or contracts with smaller, local/regional firms that meet its exact standards of age, quality and professional credentials. The efficiency of having most if not all of the project done by one organization with one agreement, one local management team and standardized pricing and execution, translates into project efficiency and cost savings for the client and growth for the service provider.
