Family & Friends of convicted University of Virginia Varsity lacrosse player George W. Huguely have created a website: www.truthforgeorge.com. The site presents a plethora of information showing why Huguely was not only innocent but, provides both the public and media the latest updates in his case.
“Six years have passed since the terrible tragedy of May 3rd. As a mother, I have no words to describe the profound sense of loss I have felt at Yeardley Love’s passing. Neither, do I have words for the pain I feel for my son’s incarceration. The Truth for George website ensures that public and those in the legal system remain aware that my Son is innocent.” Said Hugely’s Mother Marta Murphy.
On Wednesday July 20 at 3:30 pm, the parties in the Estate of Yeardley Love v. George Huguely, V, civil wrongful death lawsuit appeared before the Circuit Court for the City of Charlottesville, Virginia to argue whether the factual positions taken by Sharon Love in related litigation in Maryland is binding on her in the Virginia case.
“I think the most important think Sharon Love has done is to acknowledge that two themes in the original media narrative are simply wrong. First, George never said that he banged Yeardley’s head into the wall. And all the available evidence suggests that he did not. Second, this was not, ‘the worst crime scene ever’. Our Truth For George website provides documents, statements, and even frequent media updates.” Said Huguelys Attorney Matthew Green.
