DICKINSON, TX – 2 Sep, 2016 – Two new online courses have been developed by The File Academy that deal with staying safe online. One is geared towards training employees to protect their company from cybercrime and the other is designed to teach teenagers how to stay safe from online predators.

The File Academy Online Learning Center has created Biz-Guard: Cyber Security Training for Employees to combat the growing threat of cybercrime against companies. This course provides an employee with 24/7 access to the course from any internet connected device and includes 40 separate lessons, progress bars, 6 quizzes, a final exam, several “how-to” lessons in the Appendix, and a confirmation email when the course has been completed. The course is designed to make sure employees can recognize and avoid the different methods hackers use to attack companies, safety measures to take while online, how to protect customer information and prevent breaches, and many other subjects. After an employee has completed this course, they will have access to come back and review any lesson for one full year after purchase (including any additions or updates made to the course).

For more information about this online course, or to review the course outline, go to: Biz-Guard: Cyber Security Training for Employees.

The second course being released is Online Safety & Digital Citizenship for Students and Parents. This comprehensive course includes 36 separate lessons, progress bars, quizzes, and a confirmation email when the course has been completed. The course focuses on social media, online communication, cyberbullying, and other activities that teenagers commonly participate. After the course is completed, students will have access to come back and review any lesson for the entire 2016-2017 school year!

For more information about this online course, or to review the course outline, go to: Online Safety & Digital Citizenship.

Both of these courses are available for individual purchase. Plus, Voucher Packages are available to schools and businesses that will allow the creation of separate student or employee accounts for the number stated in the Voucher. These accounts function the same way as an individual, except the purchaser of the Voucher will be able to register each user and receive notice when they have completed the course. With a Voucher Package, companies and organizations can be assured that their employees and staff have the best cyber security training available for a cost of less than $10 per employee (depending on the company’s size).
