First in-home professional back pain therapy machine ‘Back Pro’ to seek crowdfunding support at Kickstarter

Michigan-based Reduce Back Pain LLC today launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter seeking support for its unique back pain therapy machine, Back Pro, which for the first time, combines professional back pain therapy with in-home convenience.

COMMERCE TWP, MI, September 6, 2016 — Michigan-based manufacturer, Reduce Back Pain LLC, today launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in support of its unique in-home professional back pain therapy machine Back Pro. The new machine is the first device to bring professional-level lower back pain & sciatica relief therapy to the home, at an affordable cost.

The crowdfunding campaign is set to raise at least $20,000.

“Our revolutionary Back Pro is the first-ever professional back-pain therapy device that assures effective pain treatment right in your home and within your budget- much to your relief, you can finally receive consistent therapy without daily doctor visits. Based on the principle of Continuous Passive Motion Therapy, our machine promises effortless pain-free movement and lesser or no dependency on pain medication. All you need to do is lie down, relax and the machine will do all the work. We chose Kickstarter to pre-sell enough units to meet minimum order quantities from our suppliers.”, stated James MacKay, an engineer behind the machine.

It is orthopedic rehab machine specialist Randy Fenkel who invented the Back Pro. Randy conceived the breakthrough idea to help his wife with her sports-related back injury. The machine is designed and assembled in their Michigan facility.

Back Pro comes with a torso pad equipped with friction glides that create a strong resistance, equivalent to 25 percent of the user’s body weight. Thus, the machine is 75 percent less stressful on the back as compared to normal walking.

“The first push on the machine results in a downward pelvic tilt that flattens the spine and compresses the discs between the lumbar vertebrae. After the 7” stroke, a pull from the machine leads to an upward pelvic tilt and decompresses the discs- creating a motion that is commonly called traction. It’s these 2 motions that constitute CPM which induces additional blood circulation to the lumbar region to help your body in removing the pain-triggering prostaglandin build-up.”

There is a 5 year warranty with Back Pro.

Back Pro has received rave reviews from the users.

“Undoubtedly, the machine has been a huge help for my pain and I feel more confident now”, noted a happy user of Back Pro.

“Within 8 weeks, the machine eliminated the chronic shooting pain in my leg, healing me back to my normal active routine”, Doug Otterson was another elated user of Back Pro.

Reduce Back Pain has announced rewards for Kickstarter backers for the Back Pro machine at highly discounted rates.  With a pledge of $995, early birds will be rewarded with a 50% discount from retail and a machine from the 1st production run.  Other backers will also receive significant discounts of 25% to 35% from retail with additional production runs.
