LAS VEGAS, NV – 7 Sep, 2016 – Omakase, Japanese for “I’ll leave it to you,” is an experience for the adventurous foodie who relinquishes control and complete discretion to the chef to handcraft each dish for each course.
“We are often asked about tasting menus and thought it would be something special to add” says Ohjah founder Zhigang Wang. He adds “The new omakase menu is tailored for guests who want to have an elevated dining experience.” The cost is $69 per person for the omakase and there will also be an optional beverage pairing as well. Guests can still dine a la carte and order off the regular menu.
Modern and comfortable, Ohjah blends energy and intrigue with a fresh, simple atmosphere. At the helm of Ohjah is the seasoned culinary talent of Master Chef Zhigang Wang, bringing over three decades of taste and experience to each table.
When asked if most guests dine at Ohjah mainly for their entertaining teppan chefs, Mr. Wang replied “Although we are most known for our hibachi, Ohjah’s sushi and sashimi has a very loyal following. It’s for this reason that the omakase offering seemed to be a natural fit.”
The stylish, upscale casual Japanese restaurant now has 4 locations throughout the valley and has built its reputation by offering high-quality Japanese cuisine at affordable prices.
Guests will experience unique dishes, many that have never been served at Ohjah before “We will have specially sourced ingredients brought in specifically for our omakase menu” says Mr. Wang. For this reason, diners will be required to make reservations a minimum of 3 days in advance.
