Showcasing Top Brands Founded By Women

September 14, 2016 – San Francisco, CA – MotoChic® Gear has been selected to appear on online retailer, zulily.com. Debra Chin, founder of MotoChic®, announced that their top-selling bags, the Lauren and the Valerie, will be part of a showcase featuring innovative new brands created by women.

Chin pitched the patent-pending MotoChic® Lauren bag, which converts from a backpack to a fashionable tote, at the QVC & zulily Product Search during the 2016 Watermark Conference For Women to a distinguished panel of judges including Julie Campbell, Associate Buyer for Floorcare & Cleaning at QVC; Albany Irvin, Program Host at QVC; Heather McNicholl, Director of Vendor Education, Engagement and Product Discovery at QVC; and Kerry Morris, Vice President of Hardlines at zulily.

From Costco and Walmart, to Amazon and now zulily, Morris has worked for the world’s preeminent retail brands and recognizes potential when she sees it. Morris stated, “Certainly MotoChic® encompasses everything we at zulily look for—innovative designs, mass appeal to our shoppers, and dedication by the designer. We wanted to provide an opportunity for our millions of zulily customers to discover MotoChic®. It’s a great fit.”

A month after the conference, Chin received a call with the news that zulily was interested in featuring the MotoChic® brand on their site. From a multitude of applicants, MotoChic® was selected to take part in a zulily debut event that will feature cool new brands founded by women during a 3-day multiple vendor collection.

Chin stated, “I’m excited that MotoChic® has been chosen to take part in this special event. We are thrilled to share our bags with the zulily shoppers. Moms have consistently praised the Lauren bag as their ‘everything’ bag that has form, function and style from daycare to the office and gym, and out on the town.”

Inspired by adventurous, empowered women with active lifestyles, Chin conceived MotoChic®, a high-end accessory line that combines leading edge design with high-performance materials, to create functional and fashionable gear that world travelers, sports lovers, fitness fans, commuters, moms, students and fashionistas will love.

Wherever your next great life adventure takes you, MotoChic® will be there.
