Serbian is Opening Programming and Photography School to Help Broaden Young Minds

For many years, Milos V. Bogicevic has been a photography enthusiast while studying electrical engineering and computer science.  He has come to appreciate the photographic art as well as computer programming, both important skills for the modern world.  Bogicevic would like to share his skills to young children in the community to help prepare them for life as well as help enrich their understanding of the world. Bogicevic plans to open a photography and programming school in his home town of Smederevo, Serbia.

In order to create a suitable learning environment, Bogicevic is planning on renovating a 40 square meter facility and equipping it with computers, office furniture, cameras, and a van. Like most educational administrators, he plans on starting small and expanding as interest grows. His educational philosophy is that young minds need to be exposed to the natural beauty of the world as well as the technical skills critical for success.

To acquire the $30,000 he needs to establish his school, Bogicevic has sponsored a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.  In return for your generous support, you may receive valuable perks including mention on Milos V. Bogicevic’s blog, credit in textbooks, sunset photos on canvas, memorialization on wall of new school, or photo of you on school wall.
