Recently, the 21st Busan International Film Festival held the red carpet ceremony and opening ceremony in the outdoor square of Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae. At this film festival, more than 300 films from over 60 countries participated in the exhibition, and international film stars gathered on the red carpet. The Chinese young performer Wang Ziqiang, who entered Busan International Film Festival via Duck Neck in which he acted the leading role, appeared handsomely and stood out among numerous actresses.

Duck Neck is the first work in which the famous Chinese global gourmet traveler, Wang Ziqiang acted the leading role in a new field. The film talks about a youth dream of three young people, Li Yihuan (Wang Ziqiang), Wen Jie and Yang Dan. They always played around together. However, after the rich second generation Li Yihuan went bankrupt, they were driven into a corner and began to flea for safety. During escape, the three young people opened their hearts and tried to seek the self. With the ending of the journey and flow of sentiment, the subtle relationship also comes to an end in the cruel youth. Wang Ziqiang was a new actor without performance experience in entertainment industry, but his performance in this film was accurate and sincere, in no way conceding to numerous talented actors attending the festival, such as Vicki Zhao, Aaron Kwok and Simon Yam. Wang Ziqiang expressed, “The film Duck Neck has realized my dream, and my inspirations gained from travel in the past years have been presented before the audiences in an original way. I hope to share the wonderful world and sincere emotions with the audiences.”

After the world premiere of Duck Neck at Busan International Film Festival on 9 Oct., Wang Ziqiang will visit more international film festivals with his film Duck Neck, hoping to share this film with more audiences.
