Fort Hall, ID – October 13, 2016 – Ten speech contest winners from around the district will compete for gold in the humorous and table topics contest on October 22nd. The district level of competition is the culmination of a 3-month process of single elimination competition that proceeded through club, area, and division competitions. Contestants for the Humorous Speech Contest are required to deliver five- to seven-minute speeches; Table Topic contestants deliver one- to two-minute speeches with no advance knowledge of the topic until the moment they are introduced by the contest chair.
