This film is the first film debut for Cheng Cheng as well as his second cooperation with his good friend, Wang Ziqiang, a global gourmet traveler. To such an achievement for the first production, Cheng Cheng said that, “I feel happy, honored and so lucky to work together with my friend Wang Ziqiang and get support from such a young and energetic creative team. The honor belongs to everyone.” Cheng Cheng commented about another protagonist Zhang Ruofeng that, “Zhang Ruofeng has a unique temperament himself featured by indomitable and stubborn spirit of youth, though he is still a student of Beijing Film Academy without many acting experience. So we are willing to give him this role and he didn’t let us down.”
