Inspiration Bridge Inc. is aimed to bridge up the cultural diversity and disparities in medical treatment between various countries and regions of the world. International travel for medical treatments is on rise but the overseas travels are extremely pricey for most of the patients. As a seasoned medical practitioner in the US, Asia & Europe, Dr. Tang has had the first-hand experience of the stressful impact of medical disparities between the countries. Such disparities moved her to build a “Bridge” that would be able to take care of these disparities and help those patients from abroad who are otherwise unable to receive treatment. Thus, she joined hands with her like-minded empathetic friends from various countries and together they founded Inspiration Bridge Inc. in 2015.
“Added to addressing the medical disparities, we are also dedicated to create a cultural bridge in between countries and people. Our cultural activities involving people from various regions will help to gain insights about ‘others’ – that will further enable us to embrace the differences and feel for each other,” Dr. Youlan Tang added in.
Speaking further, Dr. Tang stressed to use all profits gathered from the charity’s cultural events for future medical activities.
“We are committed to provide support groups for medical patients flying to NYC from overseas for treatment and also to sending medical professionals from the States to developing nations.”
