North Carolina, USA – Bill brings to Koolbridge Solar an extensive amount of business development, operations, financial analysis, business operations, team building, start-up, partner relationship building, global distribution, and government sales expertise. As President and CEO he has been tasked by the Koolbridge Solar Board of Directors to build the company into the leading global provider of renewable energy solutions. His prior experience building both domestic and international business relationships will contribute greatly towards identifying organizations who will help expedite Koolbridge Solar’s go to market strategy.

Prior to joining Koolbridge Solar, Bill was an Executive Coach at Cornerstone Advisory Partners where he worked with the executive teams of small and medium sized companies to help expand revenue opportunities by focusing on the sales, marketing, business development, strategic planning, and customer satisfaction elements of the organizations. In this role, Bill interfaced with all leadership positions within the companies he worked with to develop their strategic plans to drive incremental revenue.

As Vice President for ten years at AMX, Bill was responsible for managing all revenue producing activities throughout the Eastern half of the United States. Activities included managing a team of sales professionals, managing all elements of end user support, including technical service and programming support, developing strategic plans to penetrate a large end user base within the governmental, educational, and Fortune 1000 vertical markets, and developing and implementing the plan to manage the relationship with hundreds of independent dealers who resold AMX solutions to the end user base within the territory.

As their CEO and President, Bill’s international sales and marketing experience was instrumental in helping ElectroSource, one of the first rechargeable lead and battery technology hybrid electric vehicle manufacturers in the world to launch their fleet of vehicles globally. His strategic and partner building relationship building expertise contributed towards the Company being the sole provider of electric powered vehicles at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Malaysia, and the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.

Every government in the world is looking at how renewable energy can help reduce pollution and reliance on fossil fuels and carbon generating plants. As Corporate Vice President for CompUSA, Bill built a new division for the Company exclusively focused on selling to federal, state, local and education verticals. He built CompUSA’s government business from zero to more than $150M during the first five-years and was growing it at 30% per year going into the year six. The experience Bill gained working with public sector agencies and OEMs will contribute significantly towards building stronger business relationships by providing insight into the needs, and contract requirements mandated by government purchasers.

Bill is a graduate of Niagara University with a BS in Economics and Marketing. He and his wife Dottie live in Wilmington, NC.

“We are very fortunate to have Bill as our President and CEO. His in-depth experience working with startups, working with a broad variety of partners, prior renewable energy experience, domestic, and international sales building skills will be of tremendous value towards helping Koolbridge Solar become the leader in Intelligent Home solutions,” said Stephen Burnett, Co-Founder and Chairman of Koolbridge Solar.
