New evidence pointing to Donald Bohana’s innocence may free wrongfully imprisoned man after twenty years. Bohana’s family seeks a reversal for this miscarriage of justice.
Bending to tremendous pressure from the celebrity Jackson family, the Los Angeles DA’s office moved forward in 1997 with prosecuting the case after three years with no new evidence, and even though Dee Dee Jackson’s, sister-in-law to Michael Jackson, death was originally ruled an accident.
Donald Bohana, now 80 years old, has never once given up his claim of innocence and still awaits parole… which never comes.
Bohana’s family is now taking action to finally free their father. They are launching a public campaign to draw attention to this formerly silent injustice. ABC News is investigating the case currently to be featured in an hour-long episode.
Bohana’s story is currently being developed into a book, TV and movie deal. Donna Bohana, Donald’s daughter, Writer – Janet Arlotta and Producers of the story will be speaking at aTVfest in Atlanta on Friday, February 3rd.
