Neoteric Guitar Wizard, Tyler Reese, Releases Studio Live Performance Video of Power Driven Fusion Instrumental “Astrotermination”

Having studied with Pat Metheny and played with everyone from Prince to Ernie Isley, 23 year old guitar virtuoso and contemporary instrumental music innovator, Tyler Reese, brings an incredibly diverse background to his fusion, jazz, rock, and funk driven new album REMINISCENCE.

No where is it more evident than in his power driven fusion instrumental, ASTROTERMINATION. Intricate and compelling, this song is so fast paced and on point that a live studio video was needed to show that the level of talent is real.

The video features the internationally renowned Gary Grainger on bass. Percussion innovator Matthew Burgess uses kitchen utensils to bang out world class sounds on scrap metal. Toby Fairchild is on drums, and Nashville based studio producer/innovator Paul Rucker on keys. The video was filmed at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, TN.

Having studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and producing albums since age 15, Reese is well equipped to to take his place in the next generation of fusion guitarists following in the footsteps of greats such as Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, and Pat Metheny.

He is already considered an old soul in the field of contemporary instrumental jazz guitar, and with his latest album Reminiscence, the radio charting including Billboard, nominations by Hollywood Music in Media for Best in Jazz and Best in Production, and sales which landed the project a #5 for Contemporary Jazz Album speaks for itself.
