Orlando, Fl – Granny Nannies, one of the leading Home Care Services companies in the Orlando region is today proud to announce that they are collecting hygiene items in support of the Booyah Veteran Bus Project.
The bus project is an innovative scheme to support and assist veterans in three separate ways. The first aim is to raise awareness of the plight of many veterans, by engaging in a 360-mile walk. The walk is split into 22-mile sections which represents the number of veterans who commit suicide on a daily basis.
Phase Two provides the veterans with a safe environment to get a shower, haircut and a meal. This is accomplished by the use of refurbished transit buses. The buses then transport the veterans to their local VA Hospitals.
Finally, Phase Three is targeted at veterans in the transition process from military life back to civilian life. Veterans are given education, training and information to assist with their change in circumstances.
“The Booyah Veteran Bus Project is a fantastic charity that is well managed and provides an excellent service to our veterans,” said Rob Hodgson of Granny Nannies. “When we heard about the project, we were delighted to get involved, and we are trying to collect as many hygiene products as possible, to assist. If anyone reading this wants to get involved, they can drop the items into our head office, and we will ensure they get delivered to the project.”
Granny Nannies is one of the leading care agencies in Florida, setting the highest of standards for Home Care Services.
