MILITARY OUTREACH USA’S INAUGURAL HOMELESS VETERANS CHARITY EVENT

CHICAGO, IL – 10 Apr, 2017 – Military Outreach USA proudly announces its inaugural fundraising event to support homeless veterans.

The event will be held on Sunday, April 30th from 1:30pm to 5:00pm at Klairmont Kollections located at 3111 North Knox Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.  Tickets are $100 per person with 100% of the proceeds going directly to fund homeless veteran programs.

“We are honored to host our first fundraising event at Mr. Klairmon’ts private car collection showroom,” says Retired Army Major General James Mukoyama, founder of Military Outreach USA.  “Not only is Larry Klairmont an American hero who served as a Marine during World War II, he’s also a true philanthropist.”

Klaimont Kollections is a 100,000 square foot facility that holds 300+ outstanding car classics ranging from an original 1930’s Duesenberg to a large group of micro-cars to a 1920 gold-plated Pierce Arrow. This stunning private collection is a must-see for any car enthusiast.

Founded in 2012, Military Outreach USA is a Chicago area faith-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting homeless veterans as they transition from homelessness to permanent housing.  In 2016, 13,000 veterans and family members received over 350,000 items valued at $775,000. The city of Chcago was a major contributor with all 50 wards participating through the “Help a Hero” campaign. In March 2017, the Department of Veterans Affairs announced a new national program with Millitary Outreach USA called “Adopt-a-VA” to greatly expand the current program with a goal of doubling the amount of support provided to veterans in 2016.
