iFood Announces Carlos Eduardo Moyses as new CEO

Moyses poised to take iFood through the next phase of growth

SAO PAULO, BRAZIL – 14 Apr, 2017 – iFood is pleased to announce it has appointed Carlos Eduardo Moyses as its new CEO. Moyses joins iFood at a time when the company holds a strong position in Latin America. He has eagerly taken on the opportunity to  lead iFood through its next phase of growth, looking to expand in new geographical markets and accelerate product innovation and execution for customers.

Moyses has extensive experience in online products and services and has been leading online delivery businesses for five years having served for three years as CEO of Just Eat in Brazil and then, since the merger of two companies in 2014, as iFood’s CFO for the past two years. Since joining iFood, Moyses had critical involvement in the company delivering growth rates exceeding 100% per year.
