CHAMPS FOR AUTISM HAS BEEN HELPING OUT CHILDREN WITH AUTISM & THE AWARD-WINNING FOUNDER, DR. ADDO-ZUNIGA IS WELCOMING EVERYONE TO SUPPORT HER ON SUNDAY AT NEW YORK CITY

New York City, NY, USA – May 17, 2017 – Dr. Stephannie L. Addo-Zuniga has announced that she will launch the 3rd Annual Champs for Autism Children’s Fashion Show on Sunday May 21st, 2017. The fashion show will take place at Bay Plaza Mall located in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Addo-Zuniga is a serial entrepreneur, a business coach, a renowned consultant, a medal-winning veteran of the US Army and she is welcoming everyone to be a part of this inspiring event for the children.

“Proceeds from the event will aid Dr. Addo-Zuniga in her efforts to create inclusive recreational event for children with autism, offer parenting education classes, and in the future open an affordable private school for children with Autism.” ,said Dr. Addo-Zuniga. “I am inviting everyone to join this inspiring cause because not only will this help hundreds of families but will also give you a sense of satisfaction and inner peace.” Stephannie was also the founder of Scholars of the Future Educational Center which served over 200 children that belonged to families of low to moderate income, or families in shelters.

Dr. Addo-Zuniga herself is the mother of 3 children, 2 out of the 3 have a diagnosis of Autism. She has created the fashion show to provide an opportunity for all children, with or without disabilities, to participate and feel empowered. Additionally, the event gives children with Autism an opportunity to feel included and valued, and to interact with their peers in a safe and supportive environment

In addition, the school Champs for Autism will offer an affordable private school education with the goal of helping to increase the high school graduation rate among children with disabilities in the Bronx, and making an impact on the local community. Moreover, the show will help Autistic children build confidence, hone their social skills and feel included. Besides running this inspiring school for children with autism, Dr. Addo-Zuniga also provides commentary, guest columns and guest blog posts on these and other related topics.
