SANTA MONICA, CA – 20 May, 2017 – The commercial building that housed Santa Monica’s Angels Attic, a museum for antique dollhouses, dolls, miniatures and toys, has been sold for $3,000,000, or $1,107 a square foot.

Built in 1895, the two-story freestanding Queen-Anne Victorian is in Downtown Santa Monica located at 516 Colorado Avenue. The 2,709-square foot building lies on 6,462-square feet of land, between 5th and 6th Street, less than a block from the Colorado and 7th Street Metro station.

The property was sold by the a family trust to a high-net worth investor.

“This sale was a rare opportunity and a chance to own part of Santa Monica history,” T.C. Macker, CCIM said. “The buyer saw the investment value and wanted to close as soon as possible.”
