Dr. Phil Higginbotham began his exclusive practice of orthodontics in Spartanburg in 1972, and Dr. Eric Nease joined him in 1999. In 2004, they formed Nease & Higginbotham Orthodontics. They now share their over 60 combined years of orthodontic experience with patients across the Upstate, with offices in Spartanburg, Duncan, and Gaffney. They provide a wide range of orthodontic services for children, teens, and adults. Invisalign has become quite the popular treatment modality in their practice, and they really pride themselves on their caliber of work with this system. Their utilization of the Damon System of braces allows them to treat the vast majority of their cases without the need for extractions. Plus, with their community involvement via avenues such as these scholarships, you can be assured that they have the best interest of their patients at heart.
“We know how important it is for people to feel comfortable with their smile,” says Dr. Nease of Nease & Higginbotham Orthodontics. “That’s why we do our best to meet the needs of our patients with all of the services we provide. We are committed to providing a level of care that is unmatched in all three locations we serve. The technology we use is cutting edge, from digital imaging to computerized treatment systems. As orthodontists, we are constantly learning new techniques and practices, and therefore understand the value of education throughout one’s lifetime. We are honored to award these local high school students with the 2017 Nease & Higginbotham Health Science Scholarships. Our commitment to these scholarships helps underscore that commitment to future health care professionals. We hope to one day see these scholarship recipients as future physicians, pharmacists, nurses, physical therapists, dentists, and even orthodontists!”
So, if you are looking for an orthodontic practice that is smart, friendly, skilled, and willing to give back to their community, then Nease & Higginbotham Orthodontics is for you. They know that oral health is important and they offer an experience that makes their patients feel comfortable and calm. Plus, a practice that recognizes the importance of education by awarding scholarships is one that really understands the importance of our future medical care.
