Dr. Pete Michalek is a native of Long Island, New York, but is currently residing in Connecticut with his wife. Before he entered a vet school, he gained relevant experience with treating both small and large animals as a veterinary technician. He also spent some time working in wildlife centers in northeast United States. Dr. Pete received his veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. He went on to complete a year of clinical training at University of Minnesota. Later, he joined Dakota Veterinary Center for almost ten years as an associate veterinarian. His primary specialization includes small animal internal medicine, surgery and emergency medicine.
