Costa Mesa, Orange County, California – Ms. America 2017 Oksana Vovk was a motivational speaker at STEP Harper Program, an adult day program for individuals with special needs.
“I returned to STEP Harper Program as a national titleholder, previously having met the participants as a state titleholder, and was very excited to share my joy of winning Ms. America Pageant. My victory will help me to further my platform on fighting autism and promoting organic living”, Vovk said. “I was invited to visit the program by Ms. Terri Wert, Program Specialist for Newport-Mesa Unified School District Transition Services. She is a wonderful educator, who understands and sees that every participant’s needs are met in getting a maximum benefit while in the program.”
