CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS – On Sunday, September 24, 2017, the Alzheimer’s Association is sponsoring the 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Greater Boston Walk in Cambridge, MA. Among the dozens of participating teams and hundreds of individual participants will be members of the Bearded Villains of New England “The Saints,” a local fraternal organization.
As of this writing, the Bearded Villains of New England have raised more than $3,700 toward Alzheimer’s research through their online team page, with 13 members and friends planning to participate in the walk.
“We are more than a team or your typical fraternal organization,” says BVNE Charity Ambassador Bjorn Silvia. “We are brothers who are drawn together with the goal of elevating ourselves and making the world around us a better place.”
