Fort Lauderdale, FL – Florida personal injury law firm Wolf & Pravato, P.A. is representing the family of Wesley Chery, a 21-year-old Port Charlotte resident who died in a December 2016 car crash in Port Charlotte, Florida. Initially, troopers believed that Chery and Brittany Beni, 21, who both died from injuries sustained in the car crash, were the only two people at the scene, but now the Florida Highway Patrol has determined that there was a third person involved, the driver, who fled the scene.
A 911 call showed that there was a third person involved. The caller said, “There are two passengers. I think he killed them… He probably ran away from the car because it’s smashed…this guy’s gonna get away with it.”
Before the crash occurred, Brittany, Wesley, and friends were at CJ’s Tavern in Punta Gorda, Florida. According to Lt. Greg Bueno with the Florida Highway Patrol, investigators have determined that Wesley Chery was a backseat passenger at the time of the crash. A witness has described the driver as a black male, between 20 and 30 years of age, with balding or short hair.
Wolf & Pravato will be working closely with Wesley Chery’s family to recover compensation for the wrongful death of Wesley Chery. The Law Offices of Wolf & Pravato is located at 2101 W.
