The new dance studio located at 291 Broadway, Suite 900, is owned by two Ukrainian couples, Artur Sveshnikov and Svitlana Gliebova; Mykhailo Azarov and Tetyana Makarenko.
The teaching philosophy at every Fred Astaire Dance studio is straightforward: learning how to ballroom dance is always fun! The studio works with students of all ages and abilities, and helps them realize their ball-room dancing goals in a friendly and inspira-tional atmosphere. The newly opened New York dance studio offers a wide variety of ballroom, Latin and social dance lessons. The studio mostly teaches private dance lessons, but also organizes practice parties, group classes and different events for its members.

Fred Astaire Dance Studios is a chain of dance studios co-founded by Mr. Fred Astaire in March, 1947. His aim was to ensure that his dance techniques could be preserved and passed onto the public, opening the first Fred Astaire Dance Studio at 487 Park Avenue in New York City. Fred Astaire Dance Studios has gone on to establish a network of worldwide dance studios, producing a wealth of amateur and professional dancers. There are currently more than 160 Studios world wide.
