A new and exciting book by author Bernice Wooden is set to have its official book launch on November 17th, 2017 at The Centre For Social Innovation, 601 W. 26 ST. #325 N.Y., N.Y. 10001 from 6pm to 8:30pm. The book titled, “How to get a Degree in Celibacy 10 Steps to keeping your Lips Closed” follows the author on her journey to self-discovery and self love all while “keeping her lips closed.”

As she deep dived into her inspiration behind celibacy, she noticed the void around those who practice celibacy and are connected to their sexuality: a conversation that needs direct attention. After conducting research on books about celibacy, she knew that her story was different. The book is a frank and funny personal journey where the author reveals about her past sexual history and what she expects from a partner in the future.

Although the book is funny, it also provides guidance and positivity for those who want more out of life, their career and it enforces the importance of putting themselves first. The book which is expected to become one of the top sellers for the holiday season and for 2018 is perfect for entrepreneurs, self starters and people who want a new outlook on life.

When asked about the book and why she decided to write about her celibacy, Bernice Wooden said: “I wrote this book because it was important for me to share my story as an entrepreneur, educator and someone who identifies as being sex positive. It’s the perfect balance that I want people to see: a sex-positive celibate woman. I chose to have a healthy conversation that includes my body, how to create a life-long relationship loving myself and who I need to be for my future partner.”

“While long lasting love is always the plan, it is important for my generation, especially millennials to understand that a career mindset and life goals are equally as important. Our lives are rapidly changing due to the climate of our environment and we have to learn to love ourselves completely before we love someone else,” explained Bernice Wooden.
