(Dubai, UAE, November 30, 2017) – Digital First Global has announced the STEM Best Practice Awards that aims to recognize excellence and innovation in STEM Education in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels. Applications are now welcome from interested schools through the dedicated portal www.stembestpractice.com until January 31, 2018.
The STEM Best Practice Awards for MENA region has been established to encourage and promote teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related subjects at the school level. The award will feature three finalists and winners will be announced at each school level, from elementary to high school.
Covering the entire MENA region, the Award expects over 100 schools to participate this year, along with 400 educators to be present at the Award ceremony. All three finalists will attend the final ceremony and present their exemplar program at the event. Winners will be announced live by a panel of experts. The Awards ceremony will be held alongside the STEM Best Practice Educators Summit – 2018.
The selection process for the Awards comprises evaluation based on use of interdisciplinary curriculum, collaboration, design, problem solving, and the STEM experiences offered by each school. The STEM Best Practice Award’s Expert Committee will evaluate all applications and notify the school.
Nomination for the STEM Best Practice Awards is free and all MENA schools can submit their entries by 31st January 2018 at www.stembestpractice.com.
