Vision EB5 Launched to Help Foreign Investors Reach Their Financial and Immigration Goals

The Vision EB5 program was created by congress in 1990 to allow foreign investors the opportunity to seek permanent US residency by investing in the United States, USCIS approved, Regional Centers and their projects that will stimulate the US economy and create jobs.

Funds for the Vision EB5 program is raised by the US Immigration Fund (USIF), and its Indian Partner, Vision Investcap Private Limited (‘Vision Investcap’). The USIF team carefully evaluates each EB5 project and selects projects that meet its criteria of strong financials and stellar developer track record in order to help foreign investors meet their financial and immigration goals. The USIF also provides foreign investors with access to industry experts from each sector to ensure a smooth and transparent application process.

The EB5 program has recently been expanded to high net worth Indian investors who wish to gain permanent residency (American Green Card) in the United States through the USIF’s partnership with Vision Investcap. The process involves many steps including locating a EB5 project and the filing of a I-526 Petition and I-829 Petition. The USIF aids applicants with the entire application process.

The EB5 program represents a great opportunity for Indian investors as the United States is one of the most sought-after destinations in which to live and do business. This is due to the fact that the US has some of the best education, healthcare, companies, environment, global access, and investment opportunities.

In order to be eligible for the EB5 program and ultimately gain permanent US residency for themselves and their families, potential applicants need to make a minimum investment of USD 500,000 into a new US business and create 10 or more American jobs.

Since the launch of its Indian operations, the USIF has raised USD 40 million from 80 investors in 2016 and intends to attract a further 50 investors by the end of this year. In addition, the investor base is expected to grow into the thousands in the next couple of years potentially making India the second largest adopter of the EB5 Visa after China.
