On June 9, 2018, a most remarkable event, Gospel Goes Classical, one of the most venerable brands in music history, will come to Winter Park, Florida. A synthesis and cultural confluence of Classical Orchestrations with Gospel rhythms and harmonies will feature Multi Grammy Award winner, BeBe Winans and internationally-acclaimed Mezzo Soprano, Denyce Graves. Dr. Glenn Caldwell will conduct the Bella Music Orchestra with accompaniment of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Mass Choir.
Gospel Goes Classical, holding a special place in music lover’s hearts, has spanned continents with outstanding and memorable performances with Donnie McClurkin, Jonathan Butler, Joe Mettle, Juanita Bynum, Byron Cage, Kurt Carr, Anthony Brown, Dorinda Clark Cole, Denyce Graves and now BeBe Winans. “In Gospel and classical music, we are not that different, we are closer musically than most people realize,” says Denyce Graves. “Music is a gift, sent by God, that we are privileged to have here on earth.”
Gospel Goes Classical is brought to Orlando by Digital 1 Media Services, Inc. to provide the experience of two forms of musical expression – Classical and Gospel. The merge of these two provides an electrifying experience when accompanied by a Mass choir, a live orchestra, Rhythm Section and a conductor! Donnie McClurkin says it best, “You’re going to experience something really significant released in the Earth as Gospel Goes Classical.”
This Gala will be more than just a concert, but an elegant black-tie experience! Digital 1 Media Services has partnered with iDitty to deliver music, images and other rich media content of BeBe Winans and Denyce Graves to Souvenir Card holders.
This performance will be a live Pay Per View event. We invite all Central Florida and surrounding areas to come out and experience a night to remember!
