New York, NY – On Friday, February 16, 2018, VeganCreole.com, a food and travel website, hosts the premier of their monthly entertainment series, “Vegan Nights.” This event, held on the 3rd Friday of each month, is hosted in an effort to spread awareness of the benefits of a plant based diet. “As a global community, we must support our local farmers and help encourage everyone in our communities to eat more vegetables. The health benefits are amazing and it can be fun!” said Kowana Harding.
Vegancreole.com is a New York based company with a New Orleans flare. The company was created by a Louisiana native who now calls New York home. A portion of the proceeds of these events will be donated to charity. The company’s goal is to prove that eating vegetables can be as enjoyable as it is beneficial. “By eating more plants, we not only improve ourselves but our communities. Vegan Nights proves that we can have a good time doing both. In an effort to improve sustainability, support local farmers and advocate better health, we are encouraging a plant based diet to all. If you are Vegan curious, this is the event for you,” said Harding.
Each month a new theme is chosen. This month’s theme is “East Meets West,” inspired by Chinese New Year and Mardi Gras, featuring a fusion of cuisine from China and New Orleans.
There will be a New Orleans Brass band and DJ. Vegan Nights will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 at 172 Norfolk Street New York, NY 10002 from 6:00-10:00pm.
