Rochester, NY – February 20, 2018 – Rochester’s first watch company Ocean Crawler is pleased to announce the upcoming release of its second line of watches this March. Titled as “Ocean Navigator”, the new batch includes a patented case design and Swiss movement and is designed as the “ultimate luxury diving watch”.
The Ocean Navigator models stand out with a patented case design and Swiss Movement and promises watch connoisseurs something new to look out for. Akin to the first Ocean Crawler collection, the second collection too sports self-winding automatic mechanical watches and spectates a classy balance between old-world elegance and modern dynamism.
“We’re excited to announce the upcoming launch of our second line of watches, the Ocean Navigator”, stated Christian Champion, the CEO and founder of Ocean Crawler. “We are hopeful this coming line of watches will also garner an immense response as we have witnessed with our first collection, which was a limited release of 300 and sold out in under months”.
Christian is a serial entrepreneur who has been the founder of multiple companies, including an international software company, IT management company and eCommerce consulting firm. But his passion has always been timepieces and hence in 2016, he finally decided to start his long-term dream, “Ocean Crawler”. The dynamic entrepreneur’s venture with watches paved the way for the first ever watch company for Rochester, NY. Ocean Crawler was officially launched in 2017 and its maiden edition was the Ocean Crawler Champion Diver watch collection, voted best of 2017 at WatchuSeek.com
The star of the new Ocean Navigator edition from Ocean Crawler is the patent pending “Dual Bezel Case”. A true innovation in the luxury watch space, the bezel mechanism is state of the art with both internal bezel. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, the outer bezel serves as a timer to track diving times and the inner bezel serves as a solar compass showing cardinal points.
Ocean Crawler watches are built to withstand extreme environments and have to pass ten different shock tests before being released. The most severe is the high impact hammer test. This shock testing equipment submits the watch to an impact equivalent to 6,000 G – Hundreds of times more than a car crash test. Yet the watch has to remain unharmed and fully functional afterwards, maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
