Alison Kendrick, C5 Insight Director of Marketing, will be chairing the Internal Communications for a Dispersed Workforce conference in Chicago. Advanced Learning Institute is organizing the conference that will be held April 10-12, 2018 at the Hilton Chicago/Magnificent Mile Suites in Chicago, Illinois. The conference will focus on learning from leading organizations that will share communications challenges and success stories when dealing with a dispersed workforce, including non-desk, front-line and off-line staff. Tricia Desso-Cox , C5 Insight Managing Director, will also be one of the presenters at the conference.
In addition to chairing the event, Kendrick will be presenting the session, “5 Megatrends to Create a Successful Employee-Centric Digital Workplace.” She will discuss how the results of digital transformation are often more negative than positive. Intranets can make it easier to collaborate and find information, but success requires people-centric planning and processes. Attendees will learn the 5 megatrends that shape success – or failure – and how these trends can be applied to their organizations, including how to:
• Implement 10 practical tips that can be applied to immediately improve an organization’s digital workplace strategy
• Engage and inform employees through the digital workplace
• Communicate more effectively based on employee personas
• Improve search capabilities resulting in improved productivity
Kendrick said, “Workforces today are increasingly dispersed. With field sales teams, work from home options, and increasingly globalized companies, organizations are losing their ability to collaborate. I’m looking forward to sharing the successes of organizations that have learned how to improve communications across their distributed workforces.”
