Teen visionary entrepreneur launches revolutionary backpack that will keep clothes dry and packed on Kickstarter

Philadelphia-based teen entrepreneur Emily Scott has launched a breakthrough backpack which comes with an internal strap with clip to keep sweaty clothes dry, fresh and packed without the need to bring them out from the bag for drying.

No more smelly swimsuits or wet gym tees even if we forget to take them out from backpacks! A 14-year-old teen genius from Philadelphia has recently launched a ground-breaking backpack on Kickstarter that will finally bid adieu to all these stinky issues. Titled as “Clip and Zip Backpack,” the patent-pending backpack is uniquely designed to double up as a clothesline to keep your sweaty clothes dry, fresh and packed without the need to bring out your gears out from the bag to dry them.

The crowdfunding campaign is geared to raise around $70,000 by April 15, 2018.

The USP of the innovative Clip and Zip Backpack is its “internal strap with clip” that doubles up as an in-built clothesline to hang the sweaty clothes. Put simply; the bag dries wet clothes in 2 easy steps-

  • Clip clothes onto strap just like a clothesline
  • Simply hang the bag and unzip the bag flap to air dry the clothes as you get back home

Bonus: you won’t have to do the unpacking and packing for the next day. As everything will be inside the bag, you will have fresh dry clothes handy and all set into the backpack for the next day. All you need to do is to zip up the bag and march to the gym or pool in a snap.

“Nothing is more ‘Ewww!’ than a stinky damp swimsuit or sports tee that we forget to take out from backpacks after a sweaty session. I am a competitive swimmer, and I am so tired by the end of the day that I invariably forget to take out my wet clothes from my bag. The result is damp cold and smelly swimsuit for the next day practice. I am pretty sure it happens to most of us – but not anymore! My patent-pending Clip and Zip Backpack will take care of all such smelly woes from now on so that we can enjoy dry, fresh and packed clothes inside our backpack only. And that too even when we forget to take the clothes out of the bag!” stated Emily Scott, the genius teen entrepreneur behind Clip and Zip Backpack.

“I have tested my product with many and have received a tremendous response. Now, I am looking forward to share this much-awaited innovation with you all and hence this Kickstarter campaign. Your generous support will enable us to spread the word and this revolutionary goodie further with robust advertising and mass production.”

Speaking further, Emily emphasized on the state of the art features of the Clip and Zip Backpack-

  • Big enough (22” x17”) bag to house all swimming and sports gears
  • Removable and adjustable strap & clip
  • Reinforced handle
  • Padded adjustable shoulder straps for best comfort
  • Hidden ID tag for safety
  • Large holder for a water bottle with cinch strap
  • Phone pocket topped with earbud access port
  • Waterproof bottom
  • Water-resistant interior & exterior
  • Huge mesh pouch inside for additional storage
  • Huge pocket outside for easy accession to dry stuff

Backers will be rewarded with any of the two cool versions (Marine Blue and Midnight Black) of the revolutionary backpack at a discounted price.
