Founders Embassy Invites International and Immigrant Entrepreneurs for Borderless Summit

Founders Embassy, The world’s first embassy for international and immigrant entrepreneurs, is holding an exclusive Borderless Summit on June 5, 2018 at the Grand Theater in San Francisco and limited tickets are now available. The event will welcome some of Silicon Valley’s most respected CEOs, founders and partners from well-known companies such as Robinhood, a16z, TechCrunch, Twitch, Social Capital, Stripe, and Box.

The Summit will compose of on-stage fireside chats, panels, presentations, a curated mentor lounge, experiential booths, closing cocktail reception, and an intimate dinner for VIP guests. Topics of discussion will include “Capital as a Service”, cross-border collaboration, hiring talent across cultures, diversity, scaling teams globally, international expansion, employee mobility, and cross-border investing, among others.

The brainchild of international citizens Andee Gardiner and Anastasia Crew, Founders Embassy is endorsed by dozens of reputed investors, thought leaders, founders and corporate executives from Silicon Valley. The organization’s mission is to elevate, inspire, and educate international and immigrant entrepreneurs through immersive boot camp-style acceleration programs and impactful events in Silicon Valley.  The duo has in the past organized over 50 events and programs for international entrepreneurs.

“Silicon Valley remains the epicenter of entrepreneurial innovation and while we’re seeing countless emerging markets continue to develop, that isn’t changing anytime soon,” said Andee Gardiner, Co-Founder of Founders Embassy. “While entrepreneurship is distributed worldwide, the human, social, and financial capital necessary for most startups to achieve long-term growth is still disproportionately allocated to the area within a 35-mile radius of Sand Hill Road. Our goal is to help international and immigrant founders tap into these resources without the need to relocate to the Valley or give up any equity in their company.”

Co-Founder Anastasia Crew explained the unique way their program is designed, “Unlike traditional acceleration programs, we curate a customized curriculum and create content based off of what our selected founders are seeking in their particular stage of growth. We ask them what areas of mentorship they’re looking for, their current pain points, and so forth. With that

information, we’re able to pair them with mentors and source speakers and experts for interactive workshops and breakout discussions relevant to them.”

In addition to the Borderless Summit, Founders Embassy is bringing a diverse class of post-seed funded entrepreneurs from all over the world for the Borderless Acceleration Program, to be held in San Francisco from May 30th to June 13th. During this program, the founders will reside under the same roof and participate in intensive workshops, roundtable discussions and private networking events. They will be introduced to the start-up community and will be matched with mentors and coaches, investors, thought leaders and potential partners. These companies will be featured during the Borderless Summit as well.
