On October 27, 2014, the philanthropic leaders of Orlando gathered to celebrate 30 years of growth and success of the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Resource Center. At this event, the agency honored the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation, its biggest champion, organization partner and financial supporter.
“The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation’s support of the ARDC has been the ultimate strategic partnership. We could not have asked for better guidance, insight or friendships” stated Nancy Squillacioti, Executive Director at the ADRC.
The internationally renowned Alzheimer’s & Dementia Resource Center (ADRC) would not be as successful without the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation. Research into the cause of Alzheimer’s as well as overwhelming support for the caregivers has only been brought to light in the past 30 years. At the forefront of this movement has been the ADRC located in Orlando. As the ADRC celebrated its own 30 year milestone, it also recognized the people who have been instrumental in propelling its success.
The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation has been with ADRC from the beginning. It was the first funding source the ADRC ever received and the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation has been a strategic partner every step of the way. Whether providing support through matching funds or brain-storming ideas to develop and grow the ADRC, the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation has provided a wealth of knowledge.
“We are forever grateful for each of our supporters, their contributions of time, energy and resources have made it possible for us to provide services to more than 75,000 caregivers and family members” stated Squillacioti.
